The Company has for the past few years acted as Local Counsel for International Finance Corporation (IFC), an affiliate of the World Bank, and was its Principal Legal Adviser in relation to the Corporation's investments in Ashanti Goldfields Corporation Limited.

We acted for Firestone Tyre and Rubber Company during the ten (10) years (from 1967) that they registered a partnership with the Government of Ghana. Other clients were Union Carbide and Wells Fargo Bank.

In addition to our London Agents, we receive instructions from other Solicitors, for example, Clifford Chance, Beaumont & Son, Haseltine Lake & Co, Stevens Hewllet & Perkins from the United Kingdom for particular advice or matters to be handled in Ghana. We also receive instructions from Arter & Hadden LLP in the United States of America, and in South Africa, have acted for Adams & Adams, Box 1014, Pretoria 0001, and Dr. Gerntholtz, P. O. Box 8, Cape Town 8000.

We recently acted for Chemical Bank of the United States of America, on the instructions of Clifford Chance, in connection with a US$65 million loan granted to Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. We gave the Bank advice and brought their draft agreements in line with Ghanaian law.

Mr. Edward Akyea-Djamson, a Director of the Company has acted as Honorary Legal Adviser to the British High Commissioner for over 15 years, and the Company has advised the High Commission on various matters including citizenship, customary practices, visa requirements and various aspects of the High Commission's properties in Ghana.
