On the 1st of October, 1963, J. H. Lynes , an English Solicitor then practising in Ghana under the name and style of Lynes & Cridland, and J. B. Quashie-Idun, then practising under the name of E.N.P. Sowah & Co., dissolved their two firms and formed LYNES QUASHIE-IDUN & CO. as a partnership.

The Partnership was subsequently converted into an Unlimited Liability Company under the provisions of the Companies Code, 1963, (Act 179).

In 1970, John Hedley Lynes left Ghana and migrated to Australia with his family. He remained a Consultant to the Company, until his death in August 2002.

John Benjamin Quashie-Idun remained a Director of the Company until his death in October, 2007.

The present Directors are:-

In addition to the Directors, there are five (5) Lawyers who are Associates of the Company, and practise from its Chambers under the guidance and supervision of the Directors.
